A season too early

I know summer has barely hit us but I've become obsessed with finding the perfect leather boots for the fall. I recently decided on Frye boots. They're a closet staple, with 100s of styles and amazing colours. These hand crafted leather boots are a must have and although you might break the bank getting them, they're an item you will have for many years to come. My favourite style is the Celia X stitch boot in Olive. They have no buckles or added ornaments, but just plain and simple knee high riding boots. I don't want summer to be over but part of me is exciting to get my hands on a pair of these bad boys and wear them like a second skin all fall!

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart is someone who I've always admired. Not for twilight and that phenomenon but for her past works in small movies and her ability to remain 100% herself. I seem to waiver on her acting abilities but her style and attitude simply scream real. I've never heard someone struggle so much to speak, and put their words into sentences but she does, however, I find it endearing. It's so easy to have someone shove words down your throat and to regurgitate word for word what a publicist told you to say. But to be able to just think and be put in the moment allows a personal quality to be present. In a business that focuses so much on the idea of perfect and then seeing someone who throws profanities in your face, word vomits constantly and does it wearing Nike kicks and a men's t-shirt, needs a medal for keeping it real. She's gritty, raw and beautiful. In time I believe she'll do amazing things, and twilight will be nothing but a part of her past. She is only 22. Give her a few years and I think she'll come into her own and be able to wow people.

It's been a while

I can officially say it has been two months since I last wrote or posted anything. In two months a lot has happened, I started working full time again and have been quite busy with that. I also recently graduated from University! All those long months and days spent reading and writing and going to class have come to an end. I have my diploma all framed and official and now I am ready for some down time. I hope to continue to post and not go silent for long periods of time. Overall, I want to wish any readers a happy summer and I hope you enjoy the coming posts.
