Who doesn't like a good police show? Flashpoint based on Toronto's own SIU, follows the "SRU" on different tasks around the city. The best part about Flashpoint is that it is filmed and based in Toronto. With several references to street names, local areas and locations within the city, it is great to see the city I love and hold so close to my heart be recognized on national television. With an all Canadian cast, except for Amy Jo Johnson, it is my favourite show on tv. One of my favourite parts? Seeing the cast around the city, not only do I see Hugh Dillion on the regular around, I live close to David Paetkau, the blonde cutie. Every week the show brings new plots and intense storylines that are better than anything an American Hollywood show could produce. Although the seasons are split throughout the year, it definitely is a show to follow and to invest your money into the seasons. My favourite on screen team for sure.
