SILK

Although fall is cool and covering up is what we all do, I can't help but love the silk clothing coming out for fall. The light and airiness of the fabric, the simplicity of the draping effect. Of all the fabrics out for this season silk may be the most impractical for a cold country but it is so damn beautiful on. I am passing on the wool and fleece and will freeze my buns off in the name of fashion and silk. I have blogged several times about my love of Aritzia. Their clothes, the vibe, the styling, and pretty much their everything. Right now silk is all over Aritzia's shelves and I am in love. I had a mishap once with a silk shirt I bought, but I got over it and now pieces made with silk are a must have. Most of the silk pieces they carry are; dresses blouses and skirts, all of which are different patterns, colours and styles. Here are some of my favourite pieces from their fall collection and I WILL end up buying a some. Get shopping people.
In order: Wilfred Franca Dress, T.Babaton Peyton blouse, T.Babaton Bennett Dress (I own this dress from last season and it is so beautiful on),Wilfred Baye Tunic Dress, and Wilfred Bourgeois Dress (a personal favourite)
